This edition to the Christian Encounters is a biography on Isaac Newton. The book is 155 pages with 15 chapters full of detailed accounts written by Mitch Stokes who has a P.H.D. in Philosophy. I found the book very informative and a great read. Isaac Newton’s faith, diligence, and inquiry are awe-inspiring. Through his life Newton has changed the world and still continues to have an effect even after his time. I find myself wanting to study Newton’s work further after having read this book by Stokes. Newton’s research was for the sake of knowing God and how things work producing a wonderful combination of science, philosophy, and theology. My attention was not lost for a moment and was intrigued constantly by the information it provided. Overall, the biography was cohesive and very understandable.
